Michele Courtney is proud to call the Comox Valley home.

After many years of living on Bowen Island and then relocating to the interior of B.C., she now feels a return to her roots on the Island and the coastal lifestyle that makes the valley feels so much like home.

Michele's Real Estate career was born out of her own desire to find a home for her family and the discovery that her past experiences as a teacher and being involved heavily in the community on a volunteer level, had cultivated a strong work ethic, a true love of working with people and a desire to make a difference...the perfect recipe for a successful Real Estate Career.

It is Michele's optimistic and enthusiastic attitude that makes clients gravitate to her, and at the end of the day, it is her client's satisfaction that puts a smile on her face.

Since moving to the Island and joining RE/MAX, Michele has focussed her energy on becoming a designated Senior Real Estate Specialist and she also works closely with extended family members who are assisting their elderly parents in transitioning to a new home.

"Change can be very scary for some clients, and it is my job to help them maneuver through those delicate emotions and communicate in a clear, professional and very human way."

Michele also works a great deal with first time buyers and specifically loves helping young families make their dreams come true. Working as a teacher she learned how to break things down into small manageable steps and this really helps take the fear out of the buying and selling process and makes it more enjoyable.

Michele's greatest strength is her ability to empathize with her clients and "walk a mile" in their emotional shoes...exceeding their expectations and taking care that all of her clients questions are answered right until the end...no matter how big or small.
